What do the Service Charges include?
- Water supply: The costs incurred by the supply of water and the costs for the check-up of the supply
- Chimney sweep: The regular payment for the chimney sweep according to the legal ordinance
- Sewage disposal: The regular charges for the sewage disposal
- Domestic refuse collection: These costs include the waste disposal as well as the costs of a clearance of junk
- Pest control: When the house or a flat is infested with certain persts (e.g rats), the costs for the pest control will be included in the service charges
- Lighting: The energy consumption costs for general parts of the house (e.g. the staircase) and the costs for the replacement of electric bulbs and fuses
- Fire insurance: The insurance that makes up for damages caused by fire
- Casualty insurance and water pipe damage insurance: Casualty insurance protects the house against legal liability for losses caused by damage to the property of others. Water pipe damage insurance also includes corrosion damage
- Administration expenses:The costs for the administration of the house, including print requirements, account management fees, etc
- Cleaning: Charge for the caretaker that keeps the general rooms clean and maintained
