TAB-Austria - since 1962
It was a long trip by car from Upper Austria to Vorarlberg. Siegfried Dattl Sr. and Annemarie, his wife, were transporting a football table in the narrow confines of the family car. They were on the way to their first customer.
The incredible feeling of having completed their first sale and the vision of many more to follow were sufficiently motivating. What started in 1962 with music boxes, football tables, and pinball machines, constituted the foundation for expansion throughout the world.
The husband and wife team's passion for their work and their untiring dedication made the company what it is today. Even now, the entire TAB group is characterized by a desire to deliver top performance.
The company has gone through many changes since "Automaten Dattl" was established in 1962. The foundation for worldwide marketing was initiated by the separation of TAB-Austria and Dattl Unterhaltungselektronik in 1983.
The development of markets in Germany and Italy was soon followed by expansion to other countries. The Silverball brand – one the world's most successful touch screen terminals in the entertainment sector – further consolidated the company's basis for business. With the subsequent development of digital jukeboxes, touch screen gambling terminals and the invention of the first virtual pinball machine – Virtual Pinball – the company demonstrated its ability to respond quickly to constantly changing demands and markets.
The ongoing development of equipment and the utilization of innovative methods, designs, and ergonomics, are prioritized. Therefore, along with general market observation, consumer feedback is particularly important.

1987 – Establishment of Computer Electronic Service (CES)
1991 – Grand opening of the new location in Ansfelden
2001 – Reorganization of the holding and establishment of TAB-Austria.
2003 – Establishment of TAB Electronic Services
2004 – Fusion of TAB Electronic Services and Computer Eletronic Service CES
2006 – Expansion and enlargement Dattl Realinvest GmbH
2008 – Market launch FUN4FOUR - the ultimate games table with amazing strategy, card, skill and trivia games. Up to 4 player can play on the extra large 42" touch screen .
2010 – TRIVIAL PURSUIT on FUN4FOUR. With the release of TRIVIAL PURSUIT, TAB Austria is offering the first licensed game and a multiplayer mode for up to 6-players.
2011 – Market launch MAX FIRE Jukebox HD
